“St. Mary’s English High School Shines at Taluk Level Students’ Parliament Competition.
Our school’s 9th –grade student, Ganesh G., made us proud by demonstrating exceptional prowess among 60 participants from 30 schools at the taluk-level Students’ Parliament Competition held at Nagarasabha, Bhadravathi on October 13th. He secured a spot in the district –level competition on October 27th, making history as the first student from our institution to achieve this feat. Valmiki Jayanti holds a great religious significance and this day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maharishi Valmiki Ji. He was the one who wrote Hindu epic Ramayana. As per Scriptures, it is believed that he was an ardent devotee of Shri Ram.
